At Amaro Than, your data is not just “stored” — it’s protected at every step. From the moment it leaves your device to the moment it’s safely written to our systems, we treat your information like something that doesn’t belong to us — because it doesn’t.
All sensitive data is encrypted using AES-256-CBC, one of the most trusted encryption standards in the world. Your connection to our servers is protected with HTTPS, so everything sent between your device and Amaro Than travels inside a secure, encrypted tunnel. For private communications, we use end-to-end encryption, meaning your messages are locked on your device and can only be unlocked by the intended recipient — not by us, and not by anyone in the middle.
We never store raw, readable sensitive data in our databases. Instead, we store only encrypted or securely hashed values, with keys and secrets kept separately and protected. That way, even if someone were to access the database, they would not be able to turn that data back into something human-readable.
